Looking for a fun camping treat that's easy but kids absolutely love? Try campfire cones! They're simple, customizable, and and delicious (if not rather unhealthy, but hey: it's camping!)
What you'll need is a package of camping cones, foil, and whatever you would like to fill the cone with. Try milk chocolate, butterscotch, toffee, marshmallows, nuts, and even brown sugar! If you want to make it slightly healthier, dried fruit like bananas or strawberries make a decent addition.
To make it fun, have a variety of ingredients for each camper to choose from, make sure they're well mixed, then pour them into the cones. Wrap the cones in foil, place them over a campfire for a few minutes, then pull them out, let cool, and unwrap for a delicious, hot, often gooey mess. Health be damned!
I LOVE the tutorial .thank you! I've been redaing about Stickles in a couple of publications and have been wondering about them. I'm going to the local Hobby Lobby on the next payday to try them out! Hope they have it. I don't visit your site often enough .each post is inspiring and feast for the eyes. Love the new look!!~Allie

I'm glad you are feeling beettr! And I love your how-to, what a pretty display. I agree about Stickles, but I have a hard time finding it around here, its only in scrapbook stores, not craft stores. And other brands are NOT the same, are they?
