Here's a great appetizer recipe we came across on Allrecipes, originally posted by the Pioneer Woman, whose cookbooks and blog you may have come across in your culinary career.
We whipped these up for our last dinner party and hot dog, were they ever popular! Take a look at the delicious (and very easy) recipe below:
Ingredients:
Fresh Jalapenos
Cream Cheese
Bacon
Directions
Slice the jalapeno in half length-wise.
With a spoon, scrape out the seeds and white membranes.
Cut bacon slices into thirds.
Smear cream cheese inside each jalapeno half.
Take a piece (1/3 slice) of bacon and wrap it around the jalapeno.
Stick a toothpick through the middle of each one; this will keep the bacon from coming off in the oven. Place them on a pan with a rack (so bacon grease can escape) and bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
